We went to my favorite place on earth, the beach. We had lunch with my Granddad and ate outside, I couldn't believe that we were outside in January. Everyone was riding bikes, walking their dogs. Riding with the window's down felt like heaven to me. Flowers and brushes were in full bloom. But was feeling a little bad that TJ was home with the kids and it just snowed,and I was on the beach playing in the sand. It was so amazing to hear the ocean, to have the sand under my feet. And most of all to be with my parents,grandad, brother, sister, brother- in law and nephew. I never get this chance very often.
It was so great to have Jake fly in too, we were both loving the weather and to get out of winter for awhile. But we were missing Kate!!

Grandad and Mom. He never likes his picture taken so I am glad I have one to share. Jake made a magical sand village with landscaping and everything. I don't know what it is when at the beach grown up's love to get down and become kids and play in the sand. That is why it is my favorite place to be.
