Our Christmas Eve dinner tradition is to have a candle light dinner with our ham dinner.
Grace was the best helper getting everything ready for the night.

And this is what Cooper was doing, having no patience waiting for the dinner to cook. Maybe I shouldn't have set the table so early, it was torture to him.
While at dinner Grace came up to me with tears in her eyes and gave me a big hug. She whispered in my ear how grateful she was and thanking me for making her Christmas so magical. What a sweet little girl!! At that moment all the hard work was all worth it.
We had our own Nativity scene.
The kids got to open their new Christmas PJ's with a new stuffed animal and robes.
Carrots were left out for the reindeer and the cookies for Santa.
