Dr. Seuss week was last week. Grace's school had a lot of fun events for the Dr. Seuss birthday. We celebrated at home with with a tea party of course and I made treats that went along with the books. I never read so many books at one sitting. It was so fun with the kids sitting by my side and begging for one more to be read before bed. I love reading to my kids and watching their faces light up with the magic of books.
This is what our cake looked like and the end of the tea party, cake destroyed and lemonade spilled on the floor.
We went to the book fair at Grace's school, they picked out a book to take home.
And Grace's teacher Mrs Perkins( a.k.a Wonder Women) put on a Horton Hears a Who play for the school. Grace was one of the kangaroo's and had a dancing and speaking part. I was so impressed with the program from all the cute costumes, music, creativity and every child knew their parts.
